As life became more hectic after becoming a mother, I realized that in order to handle all the additional responsibilities and distractions motherhood entails, I needed to get organized and create a space that could be easily transformed from a playful disaster to a serene and beautiful space. I wanted to create a place where everything has it's purpose, while also being esthetically pleasing, inviting and inspiring.
Functional living not only allows you to enjoy the messy moments, like baking with the kids or letting them “free” paint on your kitchen counter, but also allows you to revel in the brief moments you have to yourself, with your partner, friends and family.
I wanted to start Functional Fresh Living for my friends and all the women like me. The women that appreciate the beautiful spaces they see in design blogs and magazines, but have struggled bringing that same feeling to fruition in their own homes.
So...voila...I created Functional Fresh Living.
